Bushcraft Skill Wednesdays

What do you know about living, working, and travelling in the river valley parkland around around Fort George and Buckingham House the way people did it during the early fur trade?

Can you light a fire without using any matches? Or know what plant to use for sunscreen?
Do you know how to make a map?

Starting July 10th and running until August 28th, Fort George and Buckingham House Provincial Historic Site will be teaching a new "bushcraft" skill each Wednesday. Come out between 11:00-3:00 to try out a wilderness skill: the way they did it in 1792!  Come prepared for the weather as most of these activities will take place out doors. We look forward to seeing you and your family on all or any of these Wednesdays.

No registration required- just drop by from 11:00- 3:00 on Wendesdays!
